Dalton Woody received his undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance from Mars Hill University and his Master’s degree in Opera performance from the University of Houston. He has been a performing artist across the country, appearing in productions with Asheville Lyric Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Indianapolis Opera, and The Evansville Philharmonic. Locally, Mr. Woody serves as Cantor at St. Anthony’s Cathedral Basilica as well as a frequent chorister at both St. Mark’s Episcopal and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian. As a first-time teacher in the classroom, Mr. Woody is excited to bring his significant vocal training and performance experience to the Upper Cantorum position.
